MAS-ICNA 2013: Being a Positive Muslim – Suhaib Webb

As Muslims, we are a minority in a country that is home to people of all different religions, races and philosophies. It is often tempting to isolate ourselves or define our identity by who we are NOT (we don’t drink, we can’t date, and we definitely DON’T eat pork!). In the session, we will discuss what it means to be a strong Muslim who is true to their beliefs and defines themselves by who they ARE (compassionate, God-conscious people who want the best for humanity). Learn how to share Islam with others by what you do, not by what you don’t.
